Furthering the Kingdom

Orlando

We pray this encouragement finds you in good health and high spirits as we press on towards our common goal of sharing the gospel with the whole world.

Today, we want to encourage you to continue multiplying disciples and to consider the tremendous opportunity we have to impact lives in the 10/40 window through prayerful discipleship. Each of us can reach the people living in the 10/40 window through video conferencing, as well as one-on-one interactions with those of you living in those regions. Once again, the regions include North Africa, the Middle East, Pakistan/India, and all Asian countries such as Burma, Indonesia, China, Korea, and Japan.

The urgency of the times we live in cannot be overstated. We face opposition from the adversary, who seeks to hinder our progress and keep us complacent within our comfort zones. These comfort zones are only keeping our current ministry limited to our local surrounding area, without any progress in expanding God’s Kingdom further. But let us not be deterred, for we have been called to expand our horizons and fulfill the words of Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

I recently traveled to Egypt and Israel and had the opportunity to have extensive conversations with many Muslim and Jewish individuals. It was very clear to me that there was a lack of understanding of how much Jesus loves them, and the necessity for his saving grace was crucial. It deeply saddened me to witness the loss and hopelessness among the people in Luxor, Egypt, who had no desire for salvation that only Jesus could provide them. I felt overwhelming emotions similar to those experienced by Jesus when I stood atop the Mount of Olives and looked upon the city that continues to reject Him as their Messiah even today.

As the body of Christ, standing together as team members with one goal, we can follow the inspiring example of Paul and Silas, who "turned the world upside down" (Acts 17:6). Let their passionate proclamation of the gospel fuel our resolve to cause trouble in the domain of darkness and bring light and hope to those dwelling in our cities and beyond.

It is important to remember that our motivation for spreading the Gospel ministry should not lie in personal gain. Rather, let us be faithful stewards, obedient to God's call and driven by our desire to fulfill the Great Commission. Trust in the Lord to provide for your needs, and furthering the Gospel as you give your all to the task at hand. Philippians 4:19 assures us that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Every new day, let us rise with a fiery passion to stand against the schemes of the enemy and reclaim what rightfully belongs to God. The foundations of this world will be shaken as we persevere together in faithfulness and unity.

May the wisdom of God guide your steps, may the love of Christ sustain you, and the power of the Holy Spirit empower you as you continue to carry out the mission entrusted to you. Together, we can change lives, one disciple at a time, and transform the world around us. I thank you for bearing witness and persevering together in this fight for souls, in the name of Jesus.

Blessings,

Pete Robertson
